Eros and His Lyre

 


This statuette features a winged Eros dancing and holding a lyre in his left hand.

Substance: bronze. 
Height: 3.5 cm. 
Era: first or 2nd century CE.

Collection: National Museum of Damascus (acquired in 1955).
