An ancient relief representing a frontal view of the bust of a woman breastfeeding her baby. She is draped in a chiton. The back of her head is covered by a thin veil that falls on both sides of her neck all the way onto اher shoulders. Her right hand is about to uncover her right breast. The infant facing her breast is naked, disproportionately small, and is held with her left hand. The lady is richly bejeweled, as is evidenced by her precious pendant, earrings, and bracelets.
