Bronze Age Weight Units

Numerous weight units have been excavated at Ugarit, a testimony to the intense commercial activity of the city. They were made of bronze or stone and took different forms: gazelle, cow, bull, goat, lion, bird, olive fruit, globe, etc. Dimentions were small, and some weighed less than 10 grams.
