The Jumping Lad


This statuette represents an athletic youth hanging in the air. The head is turned upwards and to the left. The left upper extremity is extended with the left palm facing the sky. The maneuver is executed using the right arm as a pivot. The legs are widespread, and the knees slightly bent. The feet are missing. The boy is dressed with a tunic that forms ample folds and bares his right shoulder.
