Madrasā al-ʿĀdilīyyā al-Kubrā: the Vestibule

The bay of the monumental entrance is located on the east wall of the madrasā. The lofty façade features a door leading to a cross-vaulted vestibule (D). This vestibule ends at an inner door located within an īwān opening on the central courtyard. The vestibule has two additional doors, one on its south wall that connects with the mausoleum and another in the north leading to the cells in the upper story.
