This limestone sculpture features the head of a Palmyrene woman and was on display during the 1969 exhibition of the National Museum of Damascus. The hair is parted in the middle. The face is oval in shape with a classical nose and pursed lips. The facial expressions betray defiance and determination. The piece is severed at the level of the upper neck, and it is unclear if the original was a bust or an entire statue. Dimensions are not provided.
