The National Museum of Damascus showcases a sizable collection of necklaces unearthed in Palmyra, Hauran, and Ǧabal alʿArab. Some of these necklaces were made of simple golden chains; others were more complex, featuring elaborate patterns with beads of precious jewels in between.
