This showcase features samples of different styles of ancient bracelets discovered in Syria. Golden serpentiform bracelets were quite popular under the Greeks and the Romans. Some of the bracelets adorned women's wrists, others their arms and forearms; anklets were also in use. None of the items thus far discovered carries the name of the jeweler.
Collection: National Museum of Damascus.
