On this square mosaic pavement, the Orontes is personified in a human form. He appears as a seated giant holding the cornucopia in his left hand and a branching vegetation in his right. He is surrounded by five children, three on his right and two more on his left. They may symbolize villages in the river basin. The scene is framed by stone mosaic cubes.
