Remains of a fresco that once decorated the apse of Saint Jacob Monastery's church in Qārā, a town between Ḥimṣ and Damascus. This piece features a winged angel, likely the Archangel Michael, whose head is surrounded by a halo of light.
Style: Byzantine.
