1. Sauvaire (p. 270) gives the translation of an inscription, No. 436 of his list, no longer existing (?), which dates the reconstruction by Emir Muǧāhid ad-Dīn al-Malikī an-Nāṣirī in the year 648, under the reign of al-malik an-Nāṣir Ṣalāḥ ad-Dunyā wa ad-Dīn II.
In the name of Allah, the merciful and the compassionate. The mosques of Allah should only be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, pay alms-tax, and fear none but Allah (Qurʾān IX-18)— this records the ordered reconstruction of this site, carried out during the reign of our master, the Sultan al-Malik an-Nāṣir Ṣalāh ad-Dunyā wa ad-Dīn—may Allah perpetuate his reign—by the most illustrious and great Emir, conqueror, champion of the faith, and devoted patron of ribāṭs (frontier outposts), Muǧāhid ad-Dīn Muḥammad—son of the Emir Šams ad-Dīn Maḥmūd, son of the Emir Ġars ad-Dīn Qilīǧ al-Malikī an-Nāṣirī. This took place on the 15th of the month of Ramaḍān, in the year 648 (Dec 11, 1250 CE). May Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad!
2. Another inscription is located above one of the windows of the north portico, possibly R.C.E.A. (Répertoire chronologique d'épigraphie arabe) number 4177:
3. On the pair of colonettes in the miḥrāb, A on the right and B on the left, very small characters:
A. In the name of Allah, the merciful and the compassionate. The poor servant in need of Allah's mercy, Balqīs, daughter of the pilgrim ʿAbd ar-Razzāq, has made anew these two columns, desiring Allahʾs satisfaction.
B. 0 Allah, Thou who hast raised the heavens without pillars (Qurʾān XIII, 2) and without help, pardon Thy slave, the pilgrim, mother of ʿAlā ad-Dīn, and her parents and her children. Amen! May Allah's blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his family!
