This selection of attachments for sarcophagi from Darʿā were produced by hammering the metal to form a series of rings, the center of which is occupied by a knob in the shape of a lion's head with or without a ring in its mouth. A similar specimen from Ḥimṣ was briefly described by Adul-Hak (p. 145 pl. LV 2) in 1951.
