Mafʿalā 2006

 


The front of the block is carved in the shape of a bust of a beardless man on top of a curvilinear triangular element with six vertical grooves. The drapery of the tunic is visible on the shoulders. 

Provenance: Mafʿalā.      
Substance: limestone. 
Height: 43 cm (72 cm according to Dunand). 
Era: first century CE?
