Two-Faced Mirrors

 

The glass mirrors in the attached photograph are made of thin convex glass sheets surrounded by a frame made of gypsum. 

Provenance: Dibsī (northeast of Aleppo). 
Dimensions: diameter of the frames 7.5 cm and 4.9 cm, respectively. Thickness 2.1 cm and  1.5 cm. 
Era: Roman.
