Treated with the same technique as the previous, this theme is often reproduced and illustrates with great freshness the epic of ʿAntar, the black hero. Rejected by his family as a child and exiled to the desert, he accomplished numerous feats of bravery in order to regain his rank and honor and to win the heart of his beautiful cousin ʿAbla.
From right to left: ʿAntar, ʿAbla, Šaybūb (ʿAntar's brother).
